Demuxing New Containers!!

Hi im looking for a program that can demux MP4, H264 and x264 for further encoding or transcoding, especially the Audio, im looking for enconding AAC to AC3 (that I know how to) the thing is that I dont know how to demux and transcode, and mux back.

any suggestions.

AC3 in MP4 is a nogo so I guess we can stop right here. If you still want to indulge in an exercise of futility, mp4box can demux streams from MP4 just fine, and there's a new GUI for it called YAMB available in the container forum and my site.

if you want to combine avc and ac3 you can go for the matroska container (muxing with mkvmerge)

but if x264 its contained in AVI, how do i demuxed?, with Virtualdubmod?

There is a commandline tool called avi2raw that can do this. It´s part of the mpeg4iptools . You download it from celticdruid.

Just to clear the things:
H.264 is one standart for video coding, as Mpeg2 or Mpeg4 ASP. x264 is a codec that follow this standart, as Xvid follows Mpeg4 ASP standart. If you want to know more about H.264 go to Mpeg4 AVC forum and read the stickys.

They can be put in certain containers like mp4 and Matroska (and avi throught hacks).
