hey people

what i have is a video with no audio at all
then i have the excate same video just that it is a different copy, with audio, but the problem is that that video with the audio has really poor video quality, so i would like to transfer the audio from the 2nd video to the first video, the second video has a few seconds less than the first, but basically the same

how would i do that then?

---

i use vdub-mp3-freeze to split up some files that the audio is out of synch, but using vdub-mp3-freeze it is in synch

but the problem is that after 2 minutes out of 10 minutes of the video, there is not more audio :(

help

or how would i cut up a video that has cutting problems (e.g. out of syncH)

If the two videos are MPEG-4 encoded, you can first demux the audio from one file (Load the video, click "No" if prompted to rewrite the header, click Streams > Stream list, select the audio and select Demux), then mux it into the second video (Load the video, click Video > Direct stream copy, click Streams > Stream list, click Add and select the previously demuxed audio, then save under a new filename).

If there is an audio synch problem, you can either adjust the skew or convert to .WAV and add/crop the audio to make it the correct length.

@Tauschke

Hi!

Based on what you've described, I'd suggest that it would be far simpler to go back to your original source material and just make a new, synchronized .AVI...

at setarip_old - how do i make a new synced .avi?THe same way you made the "second" one (The one with poor video quality but full audio), but with more attention/higher bitrate regarding video...
