Just what is WINRAR? I got the message that it was missing when I clicked on an option for external subtitles. My guess is that it's some sort of Zip file whats either being used to either encode or decode subtitles. If this is correct does one have to purchase it & once one has it will one be able to have subtitle that can be turned on & off when viewing a DVD without having them constantly displayed?

WinRAR is an archiving program similar to WinZip. What exactly were you doing when you got the message (re: what type of video were you viewing)?

When using AGK & I click on the option is advanced settings that says allow external subtitles I get the message that "WinRAR is not found. You should not use this option without it."

I don't know about the message, but you can get a free trial of WinRAR.

It means you don't have Winrar installed. Get it here (http://www.rarlabs.com/rar/wrar351.exe). When you choose 'External Subtitles', the subtitles won't be hardburned into the video, but instead they will be ripped into the same source directory as idx/sub files. Additionally, AutoGK also compresses the .sub files into rars and that is why it needs Winrar.
