I came across this software when I was surfing. Could not find any discusssion about this software on this website. has anyone tested this suite which looks pretty impressive.
Would like to get some feedback on this. Also is my assumption that this works on normal PC s correct without any additional hardware? Am looking at this as a professional encoder to convert my DVD movies to H.264 format.
The link for ur reference: http://www.ateme.com/products/pcencoder_fr.php

:stupid: Read somewhere that nero uses the Ateme encoder. would the output of this software and nero be more or less same.

Would like to get some feedback on this.people are testing the ateme encoder extensively on doom9. check the ateme sticky and the two ateme threads (about quality and bugs)

quality should be pretty good, tough it might not beat the freely available x264

the price of ateme should be really high, some 1000$ or so...

Read somewhere that nero uses the Ateme encoder. would the output of this software and nero be more or less same.nero currently uses an older version of atemes encoder, that only supports main profile

there have been announcements and ensurements that nero will upgrade to the latest ateme encoder, with high profile, but it didnt happen till now (altough ateme says their encoder is ready for useage)
