i was encoding a dvd to xvid using xvid 1.1, i selected ac3 original audio and left 2cd's (1400mb) selected, display only forced subtitles. it gave me a 700mb file which was 01:26:37 long and a 262mb file which was 26:57 long. why on earth didnt it make 2*700mb files that were 55mins each?:(

i used autogk 2.26, xvid 1.1 final, ac3 audio. i selected stigma chipset compatability when i installed it too.

i just tried making a 700mb version, i entered 700mb myself and it came out as 557mb, why on earth are the file sizes messed up?

gunna try uninstalling mtk/sigma support and see if it works as i didnt install the 1.1 beta 2 with mtk profiles as im using xvid 1.1 final.

mtk/sigma definatly wouldn't work with a stock 1.1 build since it lacks the MTK profiles. As I recall before AutoGK was updated to the new Home Theatre profiles, using ESS (which relied on those presets) resulted in undersized encodes, so I would expect the same with mtk/sigma.

worked perfectly without mtk/sigma profiles installed, hopefully autogk 2.27 can add xvid 1.1 final and new mtk profiles so that no-one else experiences these problems.

XviD's VfW hasn't been updated for 2 months, therefor it hasn't changed since I last built a patched VfW front end.

So, install AutoGK, update to 1.1 and replace xvidvfw.dll and you should be fine.

The Cinema Plus profiles actually add most of what I added anyway though.
