Not enough space...?

Got a small issue here...I've always used DVD Decrypter, then dvd shrink to backup/copy with nero. Today though, I used DVD Decrypter, then when I tried opening the DVD file in DVD Shrink, It told me that the file was too big or some nonsense, and to make sure the compression was set to 'automatic'. Nothing has been changed on ANY of my programs and this is the first time anything like this has happend. Don't know if this will help any, but the dvd I was doing was 'Four Brothers'. I attempted using 2 different DVD's, and niether worked. Not sure what to do, so maybe you guys can help. Thanks in advance.

Your going to have to drop something out. First check and see if you have only checked the language you need in the options. (ie.english, spanish, french) If this doesn't work, then your going to have to drop one of the audio files, or if the movie has it, the director's comments. In short, find something your probaly not going to need, and take off the check in the box. Watch the green bar up top, and ensure there's no red on the right side.

I can try that, but why would this just happen for the first time after SEVERAL successful backups were made before? Also, it shows it as only being 2gb after compression, so I don't understand...

Well, I went ahead and removed all the extra languages and stuff that I didn't need, and it went ahead and worked. I appreciate the help :)

Fairly simple. Some DVDs are larger than others. DVDShrink tries to keep the main movie file as large as possible, to avoid quality loss. If you have alot of extra audio in the main movie file, Shrink can't get the file small enough. In short, the other DVDs you processed most likely had less languages, audio choices (ie. 2.0, 5.1,THX) or extra features.
