Hi!
Doesn't your original, purchased DVD already contain the subtitles?

@thastarter:
I asume your .ssa file is perfect in synch with the movie.
Use "SubtitleWorkShop" to convert the .ssa file to .srt. Then use "Subtitle Creator" to convert the .srt to .sup.
Finally, use "Muxman" to mux all the files.

Use "SubtitleWorkShop" to convert the .ssa file to .srt. Then use "Subtitle Creator" to convert the .srt to .sup
Not necessary if using Muxman - use SubtitleWorkShop to convert the .ssa file to .sst (Scenarist sub script) - Muxman can handle .sst

or i can just mux the new subs with them?You have to demux first with PgcDemux etc. (unless you're using the latest non-freeware version of MuxMan which has an integrated demux function).
You may want to take a look at this post (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=770359#post770359) in the Subtitles section.

free or to buy?Yes! Freeware tools: IfoEdit (use latest version 0.971 to avoid the NTSC authoring problems) and ReJig, to mention two!
