How to add VOB files to VIDEO_TS.IFO?

I've got two vob files, about 1.5GB each. After some trial and error I got my originals converted to vob format, but I had to do them seperately. But of course that means the VIDEO_TS files I got won't work because they only include one of the two vob files. So at this point I have VTS_01_1.VOB and VTS_02_1.VOB with their respective IFO and BUP files. Is there a quick and easy way to create the VIDEO_TS.IFO and VIDEO_TS.BUP files from these?

You can do it with PgcEdit:
1) File -> New DVD
2) File -> Import VTST Titles (select VTS_01_1.IFO)
3) File -> Import VTST Titles (select VTS_02_1.IFO)
4) Modify the VM commands in the first-play PGC and in the post commands of your titles to call them in sequence. You will have to create a new VMGM dummy menu with a dummy PGC (with Menu -> New Menu, and PGC -> New Dummy PGC) to jump from VTS 1 to VTS 2.
5) Save and test

I think it should be possible also to use DVD Shrink in reauthor mode, but I'm not sure Shrink will accept your files w/o VIDEO_TS.IFO.
1) Open Shrink and go to reauthor mode.
2) Use the DVD Browser in the right pane to load the first VTS and drag the title(s) to the left pane.
3) Same thing for the second VTS.
4) Generate the compilation.

Third method: delete the IFO and BUP files, and use IfoEdit's Create IFOs function. It will create also VIDEO_TS.IFO. Not sure it will create VTS_02_1.IFO, though. If needed, you can put VTS_02_1.VOB in another folder and rename it as VTS_01_1.VOB, and Create IFOs. Then, you should be able to use the DVDShrink method above.

It's probably OK on a PC with NTFS partitions. But you should split them in parts before burning! (I think VobBlanker should recreate the files the right way if you process the domains w/o blanking anything. You can also split the files at any sector boundary. There is no need to modify the IFOs.)

DVDFab has a function to create a VIDEO_TS.IFO (Create Video Manager)

this thread helps to create ifos from vobs and not to create a video manager with existing title set ifos

True. My idea was to delete the IFOs and BUPs and leave only the VOB files, and then create new sets of VIDEO_TS.IFO and VTS_xx_0.IFOs and corresponding BUP files.

I can see now that r0lZ already suggested this solution in his above post ("third method"). However, in the thread that I linked to, jsoto has explained the procedure with IfoEdit step by step.
