Converting DVD to XVID question

I just strated to play with Gordian Knot to convert my best DVDs to XViD. In Gordian Knot I've found the setting to limit the taget size by CDs or by Megabytes. I dont plan to write my movies on CD, I plan to keep then on my PC, so I'd like to limit the target file by qauality. AutoGK has "Target quality in percentage" setting and I can't find the same in Gordian Knot.

Gordian Knot doesn't give you all the automated tools that AutoGK has. At the lower right on the Bitrate tab there's and Average Bitrate box which you can use as a guide to get a pretty good idea of what the final product will look like. You'll need to run a few comparisons to discover what bitrate with which you'll be satisfied, and you may want to compensate to a higher bitrate when encoding a movie with a lot of fast action scenes.
