Chaning default resizing function from LanczosResize to BicubicResize

When encoding a 720x480 NTSC DVD to XviD I want to encode it as 720x544 to preserve maximum resolution while also preserving the aspect ratio. LanczosResize is very poor at enlarging an image and creates artifacts in some of the scenes of my video. Therefore I would like to replace it with BicubicResize which does a much better job resizing the video.

Any ideas on how to do this?

Try AGKTweaker; it will stop AutoGK at certain points in the process and give you a chance to change things.
