My DVD2SVCD software used to work great! Now I'm getting error messages when trying to convert from AVI to DVD.

DVDAuthor failed for unknown reasons!
For details open: "C:\DVD\DVDAuthor_log.txt"

Contents of DVDAuthor_log.txt contains this error:

ERR: Error opening C:\Documents and Settings\Sky Blueshoes\Desktop\DVD\MPlex_Muxed_File00.mpg: No such file or directory

so I followed the chain to MPlex_log.txt

INFO: [???] mplex version 2.0.0 (dvd2svcd modified) (2.2.3 $Date: 2004/01/13 20:45:26 $)
INFO: [???] File C:\DVD\Encoded_Video_CCE_NTSC.mpv looks like an MPEG Video stream.
**ERROR: [???] File unrecogniseable!
**ERROR: [???] Unrecogniseable file(s)... exiting.

Now my D2SRoBa finished fine...

- D2SRoBa successfully finished

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything including my OS. Also, it doesn't matter what movie.avi I try to use, this happens on EVERY one!

Hi. This sounds familiar.
A search for your error message should have found the answer.
But anyway, have a look here. See if this is familiar!

As this is a sticky, you really should have read this before posting - it's what they are there for!

Still, you'll know for next time. Welcome to the forum.
