getting rid of watermarks

ive finally successfully encdoded with gordian knot but i have a Divx watermark at the beginning and i want to know how to get rid of it. See when i open the file with real player and windows media player the watermark comes and when i open it with VLC player it doesnt come. i have a standalone mpe4 player and i was wondering whether it would come on there because i hate watermarks on video.

I seem to recall that DIVX has the option to turn the watermark off.
