VOB id

Got a new one for you all (at least to me). My last adventure in DVD backups was about VOBs with ids that restarted itself (turns out this was to accomodate the different languages).

I've so far had the best luck with your section called, "How to keep only the main movie of a DVD" - until I found that one section of the movie was left out.

Using Vobrator, I found that both VOBs VTS_01_1 and VTS_01_2 had VOB (id=6), and they contained different video. So when I perfomed VOB extras and selected the ids (including number 6), one chunk of video got left out.

Any suggestions?

Try FixVTS. It should renumer the VOB IDs sequentially. But I'm not sure it will work correctly in this (strange) case.
IMO, it is probably illegal to reuse the same VOB ID several times.

VOB ID can be the same if the CIDs are different, and the same cell can be split both files....
Seems I don't understand very well the problem....
