Using ffdshow-xvid-encoder-GUI

Hi out there,
my question is:
The xvid-encoder in ffdshow is just a frontend for any installed xvid-codec, right? In this case is it possible to use the "turbo mode" for b-frames from ffdshow-xvid-encoder-GUI which doesn't have such a checkbox? Maybe there is any workaround for that to use this turbo-mode from ffdshow-gui? Or would it be possible for milan to update the xvid-GUI from ffdshow to the actual xvid-codec (1.1final)?

Why not use XviD native VfW GUI???

You can install both ffvfw and XviD codec too,
ffdshow come with a dll called "ffvub.vdf", its virtualdub plugin.
You can select/configure ffvdub option from virtualdub "video -> filters" menu, if you install the plugin correctly.(just check the virtualdub/plugin folder).

Yup, ffdhow is the "frontend" for any installled xvid codec; ffvfw wont show any XviD encoder config unless you have XviD Encoder installed.

Thanks Yong. I know about all that stuff but ffvdub i too slow because of the rgb-conversion. The only question is if theres any idea/workaround to use turbo-mode from ffdshow-xvid-GUI. Best would be to update this GUI to the actual xvid-codec.
