I just converted a movie file using Flaskmpeg, and burned it to a disk as a dvd-rom using nero so I could play it on my phillips dvd player. However the audio cuts in and out throughout the entire movie when playing on the player. The actual converted file plays perfect on my computer so can anyone help me out? Thanks.

Good point. I just wondered if anyone else had the same problem and could provide some helpful tips or suggestions.

There are too many possibilities:

1) Bad media - Try higher quality media. Does the burned disc play properly on your PC?

2) Bad burn - Try burning at a lower speed

3) Standalone player needs to have a DVD/CD cleaning disc run on it. Maxell makes one that retails for approximately $10US

4) What is the audio format? .MP3 audiostream at higher than 256Kbps is problematic for the Phillips players
