Is there a program that can rip a menu from a DVD?
I want to make a backup of my kids Shrek 2, and skip the language selection and go direct to the manu, and maybe strip something so it can fit a 4,7GB disc.
The though was to rip the movie, audio and the menus, and put the together.

Did none of the suggestions in one of your previous threads help?

What you want to do is similar to what you've laid out in that thread, but we don't know how you made out earlier, as you didn't drop back in to let us know.

Just rip the DVD in file mode, all files. Blank all stuff you don't want with VobBlanker (http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/vobblanker.htm).
Maybe use MenuShrink on the menus to get them down to tiny stills.
Use PgcEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/index.html) Jump to PGC on insert to go immediately to the main menu when loading the DVD. Guide (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/third_party/blutach/How_to_use_PgcEdit_new_macro.htm) to doing this (written by a total loser).
Then shrink with your favourite transcoder/encoder (if necessary).

To bypass menu in DvdReMake you just right-click on a button and select "bypass menu". Is it what you've done? You can't simply hide the menu.

I dont have that option in my dvdremake pro V3.1.4!
Is it possible that its only in dvdremake ?

Current version is 3.3.1 you can download it from DimadSoft.com. Using older version you can get into troubles with some disks. There were some rare but serious problems fixed since 3.1.4.

Yes, i got it to work almost!
I found the "jump to pgc on start" command in pgcedit, and that works!
But now, IF i press "title button" it freezes, becaus it wants to go to the "lanugage menu". I found that i could set the starting menu as root menu, but not as title menu!! How do i do that?

Just go a bit further till you find the PGC you want to start at.
Sorry for not updating the guide - glad you found the right menu option in PgcEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/index.html).

I found that i can choose menu type as "None" instead of "Title menu", is that the way to go? Or should i (can I?) select another menu as title?
