Has anyone tried pgc.NET? Any comments? I read their website and it looks like a good approach for ripping. I sure like their avi.net program, so I thought I would give it a try. But, when I did a search at Doom9 forums I could not find any comments.

You can find more info about it here.

It is my understanding that it rips a DVD the way a Player would read it. Not File by File but it really "plays" the DVD and creates one large VOB file from the data it plays. This VOB file then can be used as input for any tool like avi.net, staxrip, autogk, drdivx and such.
More and more DVDs use methods to prevent ripping by "screwing-up" the files on the DVD, but all DVD players (including PC based ones like PowerDVD, WinDVD) and such must be able to "Play" the DVD. So the approach that pgc.NET uses seems to be a viable one.
