Hi everyone.
I wanted to know your personal opinions on which you prefer WMV8 or WMV9 at lower bitrates and at higher bitrates and why or why not you prefer one over the other.

i guess this is the same as asking "would you use divx4 or divx6". i assume that wmv9 is simply a further developed wmv8, so it will provide better quality aso...

wmv9 - better quality
wmv9 - lower requirement

WMV8 has the advantage that it can be played back using MPlayer and VLC, so it would be a better choice than WMV9 if you want people to be able to play it on non-Windows operating systems. (You need to use WMA Standard audio too as Mplayer and VLC don't support WMA Pro either).
