Does anybody have a method to do this? I use ACID to create Surround files and it only lets you export to 6 mono WAV files and I want to group these into 1 Surround WAV. I've been searching for articles and haven't come accross one yet, thanks in advance for help! :thanks:

Create a .TXT file, rename it to .mux, then open with the Notepad and type the absolute path and name of the file in L,C,R,Ls,Rs,LFE sequence, and NOTHING ELSE. If u type more than 6 files, Besweet will accept the first 6 and discard the rest (there wonŽt be an error message).
I.e.:
C:\Documents and Settings\Athlon XP\Mis documentos\Formatos\hitch_original-FL.wav
C:\Documents and Settings\Athlon XP\Mis documentos\Formatos\hitch_original-FR.wav
C:\Documents and Settings\Athlon XP\Mis documentos\Formatos\hitch_original-C.wav
C:\Documents and Settings\Athlon XP\Mis documentos\Formatos\hitch_original-LFE.wav
C:\Documents and Settings\Athlon XP\Mis documentos\Formatos\hitch_original-SL.wav
C:\Documents and Settings\Athlon XP\Mis documentos\Formatos\hitch_original-SR.wav
Then run BeSweet GUI (not Belight unless u use 0.21, cause 0.22 has the .mux support disabled for now) and open the .mux.
BESWEET Tab:
Select PCM (WAV/AIFF)
Everything else disabled (except the Log File Ouput)
AZID1 Tab:
Gain: 0dB
Everything else disabled or deselected.
AC3/OGG/PCM Tab:
Wave: 16bit 5.1 Wave.
Then hit the "MUX to WAV" button, and wait. Once finished uŽll have a multiplexed 6-ch WAV.
But the file might unusable unless it is to encode to other format with BeSweet.
The best way to get properly muxed .WAVs is to Soft Encode, import the tracks as individual tracks in the order they should be mapped (for WAV L,R,C,LFE,Ls,RS) and "Save as..." as Micro$$$oft PCM Wave.
Nero Soundtrack and Audition can create 6-ch WAVs but most apps wonŽt be able to read them, although they WILL play in DirectShow-based players.
If the WAV is > 2Gb the file might not be accepted by most apps nor WMP.

Can find the Edit thread buttons but--> "absolute path and name of the file in L,C,R,Ls,Rs,LFE sequence", should be "L,R,C,LFE,Ls,Rs sequence".
Edited: found the Edit button, just Adblock-ed it without knowing it :).

Just download johnman's wavewizard from the tools section of needfulthings.webhop.org. It'll make your file with no problem at all. Just drag and drop your six files in, check their order, choose the settings you need in the Preferences menu, and then click Convert.
