I am trying to add audio behind a still image in my main menu with TMPGEnc DVD Author. I made a samll movie with Windows Movie Maker of a still image with music behind it. I converted that to mpeg2 with TMPGEnc. I added it to my dvd menu as an image with a motion menu on. The image appears however the audio is non existent?
Does anybody know what I may be doing incorrectly? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi!
Under the settings for "Motion Menu", have you (as you should) put a checkmark next to "Use audio of the background video as the menu BGM"?

Yes, I did make sure that I checked that box.

I converted that to mpeg2 with TMPGEnc.Did you ascertain that the MPEG2 plays with audio? What is the format of the audio?

After I converted the Windows Movie Maker file to mpeg 2 it gave
me two files, a m2v file and a wav file. I assume the audio is in wav format. Should I convert that as well. Thanks again for your assistance.

When using TMPGEnc to convert the file, change your output selection to create ONE multiplexed MPEG2 file...
