Yes, yes I've looked this stuff up. It's too complicated reading most of the time. I'm encoding Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 4. DGIndex says it is 4:3 NTSC.
Under aspect ratio there is Pixel AR and Display AR. What's the difference between both? Should I be using 4:3 NTSC or square pixel for my encode? I won't be outputting to TV or resizing. Is this option what the output will be or what the input is?

What's my best choice? :confused:

If you don't resize use Pixel Aspect 4:3 NTSC. (PAR is more reliable than DAR because DAR changes with cropping.)

Oh, great! I started over last night to keep AC3 audio (192kb...small anyway) and to post this question. Thanks!:D

Hey want to see some pics after?

I'm aiming to encode all 10 episodes to fit on a DVD5. Soulhunter V3 MPEG @ 1400kbps with AC3 audio. The DVDs were originally dual layer and uh I'm not paying $10 per disc for them!
