Hi all
I'm going to release in a few days VobBlanker 2.1
Please report back any problem.

Special thanks to jeanl for his support with DVDPreview class

VobBlanker_2100RC4b_exe.zip (http://www.videohelp.com/~jsoto/temp/VobBlanker_2100RC4b_exe.zip)

Complete Changelog
Added:Title PGCs and Menus(full domain) Tiny Preview in main dialog. Note: Some new settings including one to disable tiny preview have been added.
Added: Ability to fix SRI and SYNCI pointers in Menu domains.
Added: Split-Cell ability in Titles domain. Splits a Cell and can add a new Program and a Chapter. Multiple splits (in different cells) are allowed in the same process session
Added: VID/CID renumbering ability. Selected as default instead of filling the VID/CID sequence with blank cells.
Added: Motion2still accepts external I-Frames, from a VOB or bmp. bmps are converted using MuxMan.
Added: Drag and Drop in preview pane (used in motion2still)
Added: Tools menu to select external tools and Temporal folder
Added: html links in Main Menu to homepage and guides
Added: Registry key with the Version
Added: Detection of ini/end cell pointers out of range.
Added: VOB files FullScan: used to get the right cell ini/end pointers
Added: Detection of cells in PGCs not listed in C_ADT tables
Added: Detection of pointer mismatches between C_ADT and PGC tables.
Added: Detection of possible orphan subs in cell split and title cut.
Added: Check if any offset is out of IFO range (C_ADT, M_C_ADT, C_ADMAP...).If yes, issue a warning and change it to zero.
Added: CLI options to run minimized (-min) and to run a fullscan (-scan). If scan is selected in CLI the related errors loading IFOs are skipped.
Added: Menu option "Save project" added ("Save project as" was already there).
Improvement: Window titles in Menus/Preview and Cell dialogs show the VTS and other useful info.
Improvement: Playing a PGC in the preview automatically changes the Cell at the end of the current one
Improvement: Some improvements opening the preview window to show the previous (if any) selected frame
Improvement:Motion2still: Some improvements, mainly in motion2still w/o audio (I hope I didn't break anything). Now the output is much more similar (probably identical in motion2still w/o audio) to menushrink one.
Changed: Registry keys and project keys re-organized in sections in a more clear way. VobBlanker deletes automatically the old keys, but two reg files are attached to manually clear the registry.
Changed: Default values changed to yes in "blank cells w/o buttons" in motion2still and "Clear audio/subs status when blanking" in menus domain.
BugFix: Playback tables cell flags and still times are now modified depending on how the cell has been processed, instead of how the PGC has been processed. This should be the same for non reused cells, but in the case of reused cells the previous method did not work at all.
BugFix:Video Attributes (resolution) were not correctly mapped.
BugFix: Replacing reused cells failed
BugFix: Some minor problems in menu final size estimations
BugFix: Subs SYNCI pointers: In the case of two subs in the VOBU, was pointing to the second one instead to the first one
BugFix: Audio SYNCI pointers: Sometimes VobBlanker was pointing to the audio pack before the right one.
BugFix: Motion2Still: Fixed the case when the subs appear two VOBUs before the buttons (Star Wars I japanese version).
BugFix: Two bugs in Motion2Still in titles domain.
BugFix??: Disappearing buttons issue: Not found the root cause, but coded a walk around (little dirty, BTW).

I get an error and then Voblanker is killed then Microsoft want's me to send some information:
Voblanker MFC Application
AppName: vobblanker.exe
AppVer: 2.1.0.0
ModName: vobblanker.exe
ModVer: 2.1.0.0
Offset: 0005b8d6

It happens when I try to open a title.

What else do you want to know about the error, I'm happy to supplie it.

What does "open a title" mean?
Open a PGC in preview? In tiny preview?
If related with preview, please try:
- Checking/unckecking do not use overlay
- Disabling autoplay
- Disabling Tiny preview and opening the title in main preview pane

My explanation sucks I know, my time is 01:39.
First I selected a title in Titleset
then I double clicked a PGC in that titleset to se the cell list, this is when the error occurs.
I would not say that my action is related to the preview thing, the new small little window with the preview is working fine.

Anyway I tried:
- Checking/unckecking do not use overlay
Result is not changed
- Disabling autoplay, tiny
Result is OK

Tried a couple of times and:
If tiny preview is running Voblanker is killed when I double click PGC (to open cell list)

I see. This is due something I did at last hour...
Fixed.
but I've to say I still have a hang (infinite loop) in some cases when doubleclick in the PGC list in autoplay mode....

I've changed the link to RC4b

Thanks very much.
There is no problem about button-highlighted.

Thanks Jsoto
RC4b works fine for me. I have tried 10 different DVD's so far and it works flawless i.e no hang or strange behaviour.

Added:Title PGCs and Menus(full domain) Tiny Preview in main dialog. Note: Some new settings including one to disable tiny preview have been added.

on my Celeron 2.6GHz + 512MB RAM system, everytime I click a Title, my cpu will usage will suddenly boost up to 70-80% and then drop back down, and it causes a tiny lag in my MPC (since I am playing music at the same time).

And also other settings would take the effect immediately after clicking apply, but "disable tiny preview" setting will not change after clicking apply, I must click "save to registry" and restart the program in order to take the effect...

@lovelegend
Yes, disabling Tiny requires save in Registry and VB restart...

About your tiny lag... Could you try and report back:
a) Disable tiny autoplay. This should be enough, thought
b) Try checking unchecking "Do not use overlay" (requires restart or open/close menu or cells dialog)

jsoto

EDIT: BTW, I still have a crash and a hang... weird!

@jsoto
Thanks for the reply, checking "Do not use overlay" works (autoplay is disabled)...

Actually I think "Auto Play selections in Tiny Preview" should be unchecked by default (since we're not using VobBlanker to watch the DVD :P)...

I just want to know in simple terms what is the function ?

and if in the settings I should put that it clears them and puts it according to the vob?

and just in case, could there be any side-effect?

Thanks :)

Well, in the PGCs there are two interesting flags:
-seamless joint
-STC discontinuity

The first one indicates that the cells are linked in a seamless way or not
The second one indicates the main clock has to be reset, because a new mux sequence starts. The new STC sequence should start at zero, to be compliant, thought..., but using VobBlanker or dvdshrink to cut titles it may start in a non-zero value.

What VobBlanker does is to put STC flag accordingly to the VOB files, as it must be.

A seamless flag not correctly set can produce playback problems, but I do not know any issue with a wrong STC discontinuity flag.

Usually a STC discontinuity implies a non seamless joint, and my intention was to modify both flags. ... But I'm not completely sure so I decided to modify only the STC flag.

EDIT: too many typos...

Thanks for the reply.
Just curious.
