Is there a possibility to do this?I'd like to convert AVI/WMV to VP6(a VIDEO file) and VP6 to AVI/WNV.How can I do that?

Try virtualdub with VP6 VFW codec for convert from avi. For WMV you can try WinAvi or use avisynth I think.

I tried the Virtualdub(and the decoder) but unfortunatelly it saves the files as AVI and I want the file after convertion to look like movie.VP6 (I mean with th ending VP6) and the virtualdub won't help here...


*and sorry for brakin' the 12 rule...

When used in-conjunction with FFdshow's filters, the latest version of VirtualDub-MPEG2 can read WMV9 video placed within either the .AVI or .WMV containers.

You should be able to find out quite a bit about this yourself, by using the forums search facility.
