I am TOTALLY new to DVD's, so please forgive what must be a stupid question. How do resize the resolution before burning a DVD, so that the DVD will play at full screen size, on my stand alone DVD player?

If I'm using the wrong terms, please make allowances for my stupidity. I haven't as yet learned the proper vernacular.

Hi!

Rather than trying to alter a DVD, investigate the settings available on your standalone DVD player. There should be several choices (e.g. 16:9, 4:3 Letterbox, 4:4 Pan & Scan), one of which should yield your desired result...
