Newbie with a quick question about audio...

I have been following this guide here http://www.rita.lt/guides/GKnot_DVDtoAVI.htm

I think i have a pretty good handle on most of the program but when im all done and the converting to AVI is done i have no audio. After several tries with still no audio I can't figure it out. Im sure its a simple solution but I really am pretty new at this stuff.

On the Encoder tab of Guardian Knot under the Queue box there is nothing next to audio. I don't know if there should be anything there but something tells me there should be....

Are you certain you're selecting an audio track in your second-to-last step before adding the job to queue? It won't add one by default.

Are you getting a file with <filename>_Movie.avi and <filename>.avi? The one suffixed with "_Movie" won't have audio; the other should.

Got it, Thanks. Now to learn all the fine tuning.
What is the point of the file without sound? Can I turn that off?

Gordian Knot process first audio, then video, then muxes the two. You can only delete what you don't need when it's done.
