Happy New Year All Doom9 Members

I am having a problem with certain HDTV captures/encodes. I believe that the field order of the video is changing at certain times throughout the lenght of the video. I index the mpg with DGIndex and then I Parse the d2v file and the resulting report indicates that there are many field order transitions. My question is, what script can I use to handle these transitions to maintain video field order and audio sync. I have been using Telecide().Decimate(cycle=5,quality=3) and this results out of sync audio/video and video field problems. I have tried different combinations of telecide and decimate and just have not been able to find the right match. If any one can shed some light on this problem I would really appreciate the help. Thanks

I have pasted a partial of the parse results:

First, be sure to use the latest beta of DGMPGDec. Then, unless there is noticable jerking in the resulting served video, do not worry about it. If there is, I'd like to have a look at the source clip. PM me again about it Saturday night or later, at which time I will be back from vacation and can have a look at it.

Thanks for the feedback neuron2, I did as you said and grabbed the lastest beta and was able to encode 2 troublesome videos to xvid. I am still not able to encode another one that I have, its really messed up. The encoded video actually at one point fastforwards and is real jerky but the original file plays fine. If you want a sample I would be more than happy to send you one...

Thanks
