Which aspect ratio?

I'm ripping a DVD. The DVD-cover tells me the aspect ratio is 1.66:1, IMDb states 1.85:1 and DGIndex says 16:9 - what should I choose in GordianKnot?

And what is the difference between "other" (with the value 1.422) and "Display AR" (with the value 1.778) in GordianKnot under INPUT PIXEL ASPECT RATIO?

You choose 16:9 under the Input Pixel Aspect Ratio.

Should I alter the "other" or "Display AR" to reflect 1.66 (since they show a different value) or is it all as it should be?

Just crop away the black and resize making sure to get a low Aspect Error (I aim for 0.5% or less). That will sometimes require further cropping a little bit into the video.

DVD cases are often wrong about the AR. GKnot doesn't lie. When you're done you'll find out the true AR.
