AVI to MPEG2 with Anamorphic Widescreen

I have a couple of AVI's in Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1 that i created from my Roswell DVD. I have tested a couple of avi2dvd programs such as TMPGEnc and CCE and none of them support Anamorphic Widescreen. Anyone know of any that support it?

Does using a TMPGEnc 16:9 wizard not do the job?

Nope... when i used TMPGEnc Plus it made it Widescreen, not Anamorphic widescreen. I mean, it did a good job, the characters didnt look stretched or flat or anything... even with CCE they didnt. It really doesnt matter im just bored and trying new things

Try with Virtualdub resizing before to encode in Mpeg2. It could help you.

CCE as well as TMPGEnc do support widescreen encoding. It's just setting the 16:9 flag while encoding. You need to resize the video properly to get correct playback. FitCD can help you with the Avisynth script you need.
