Im trying to get softsubs to work on a standalone dvd player I have that supports xvid/divx. Its an iLo DVDR05 recorder.
Ive been trying to find a way to mux the softsubs I have with the avi file so that I could either have them on or off during playback. I am able to mux two audio streams to the avi and the player will allow me to switch between the two streams, but subtitles dont seem to register. Ive tried muxing with .srt and .ssa files using AVI-Mux Gui, but when I push for subtitles during playback, nothing happens.
I saw another thread that suggested I could use the subs externally, but how do I do this with my player? Or is there another way to mux the files? Thanks
