I've got some completely-authored filesets in which there are a few VOBs which need to be replaced. I'd like to do this without having to re-author the entire set of files.
For example, suppose the VTS_02_x files need to be replaced. OK, author a different set of files in order to get valid VOBs, IFO, and BUPs. Rename the desired parts to VTS_02_x and overwrite the "old" versions with the "new" versions.
How to ensure the new files are properly linked into the "old" menus, especially if the files are not 100% DVD standard (resolution, GOP length, etc.)?
Would FixVTS be the way to go or should some values from the "old" VIDEO_TS.IFO be set to match those from the "new" fileset. How would that affect disc layout since the "new" VTS_02_x files will probably be a different size than the old ones?
