Zapruder Film Stabilized (Kennedy's death)

I am afraid, perhaps this is not the right place to post it. Moderators, feel free to move it o delete it. But I have read in BoingBoing (http://www.boingboing.net/2006/01/02/stabilized_zapruder_.html) about a stabilized version of Zapruder's film (the famous scene of Kennedy assassination). Nobody knows if that is a hoax.

I know that Avisynth can stabilize a video with an plugin. And I was wondering what was your expert opinion, so I believe this is the right place to ask you.

I have a bad feeling about this... I believe is an offtopic.

Off topic or not, here is something that we who are interested in this subject can go though the same steps to see if there is any merit to this artical.

A long time back, I was a "UFO investigator. Anyway in the 1970's there was a great deal of 8mm film shot known as the Billy Mier footage. Why I bring this up was that experts in the field said this was a hoax, which I belive is true, but no one in that era or now could even come close to duplicating these films with the equipment and techquie of that time. I still can't figure it out now.

Since cine film telecine is what I do for a living, I can't wait to do the processes myself. Even if it is not concluesive, it is worth a try.

Personally I believe that Zapruder's film is real. After that, in BoingBoing, another stabilized version of the Bigfoot was post there (Yes, this is a Hoax).

There's tons of old archival footage at archive.org, although it only barely scratches the surface of what's available at major newspaper & television film archives. But everything on archive.org is free and usually royalty free. :D

Well, I have found an interesting video to play with. It is the collapse of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. I saw it in the Discovery Channel some time ago.
