i was reading thru the codec settings in the main round of Doom9's latest codec shoot-out, and i was supprised to see what the suggested settings from the DivX team were:
DivX 6.1: Unconstrained profile, MPEG quantization and for the second pass only: bitrate modulation 0.2, better quality mode and QPel
so, is this to say the recomended settings for best results (on 1-cd rips of movies like matrix 3) are WITHOUT 'Optimized' Quantization, Psychovisual Enhancements, Noise Reduction, and so on??
because i do 1-cd rips with video bitrates of 700-800kbps frequently so i am interested in the divx suggested settings for 'best' results
