Let's say I have my wedding video.
There are some places where you can only hear dialog (and noise of course).
I have read the excellent guide from SomeJoe on AC3 encoding and I wondered if it would be better to take the information to set the dialnorm in the dialog only section of my sound instead of taking the average RMS of the whole sound.
I mean, isn't the DialNorm supposed to tell where the dialog is? More than to say where is the median sound level... Isn't it?
