Dr. DivX 2.0 Beta 4 & DivX 6.1

Hello All :D,
This combination rules so far. It works and it works well.

- Install ac3filter_0_70b
- Install DivX 6.1 codec only
- Install Dr. DivX 2.0 Beta 4
- Download and add avdsp.dll & drffmpeg.dll in Dr. DivX folder

Now, you should have some sold DivX encoder setup.
It works well no problems so far. The reason I say that is because I now can play them on my D-Link DSM-320 unit without sync or compression issues.

I tested the new DivX Helium Build1612 and no luck on my system. It crashes at the start of every encoding job.

Helium was an older experimental version of 6.1. I need to pull the binaries down from DivX Labs :)

Interestingly Enough I've been doing some 350mb Episode Encodes off of my Various Trek Disks and using Avi.net Divx seems to be yielding a better image to my eyes than Xvid's Latest 1.1 version. So for now I'm sticking with 6.1

That's interesting, how do you judge the quality? I always test by playing back on a TV set.

ive been backing up my stargate dvds and when i made the tests with both xvid 1.1 and divx, divx looked better when played back on my tv using my samsung dvd/divx player
