I know that development of autogk is stopped, but there is a way to make autogk work with virtualdub ( at the moment 1.6.11) instead of virutaldubmod.
Thanks to the multi-threaded virtualdub, in last codec comparason, XviD takes some more advantages.
thanks

why would you want this? There is really no point, AutoGK is (not to put too fine a point on it) named AutoGK for a reason.. it automates things. You don't need to even know that VirtualDubMod is even called.
In fact using VirtualDub would be a huge step backwards because Vdub doesn't mux non-MP3 streams (and it only does CBR MP3 streams) so you couldn't use AC3.

Sorry for late reply.
My idea is just substitute the virtualdubmod folder inside autogk.
At the moment what i use is just avi container with mp3 audio.
All just for testing speed and to see if virtualdubmod can be substitute (the development on it, i think, is stopped and no more allineated to virtualdub).
Thanks
