I accidently ripped in dvdDecrypter from IFO Mode instead of the FILE mode that i usually do. I have a VTS_01 - Stream Information.txt, VTS_01_0.IFO, and the .VOB files. Hence no working VIDEO_TS folder. I use nero burning (the newest) and will go to dual-layer so dont need to split. How can i burn or even use these .vob files even if it's just on my computer. I have Avid, AfterEffects, Adobe Encore and tons more (i'm a video editor) but this dvd making stumps me. I've read almost everthing on your site but maybe i missed something. (btw--i want to say that you doom9 people are wonderful--i've been using your site for 3 years and you are heroic operators giving your free time and knowledge. love you guys).
thanks

Why dont you go:
DVDDecrypter -> Read Iso
DVDDecrypter -> Write Iso
?
And since Nero is very picky about compliance etc. I dont think it will take an incomplete DVD and even if what would be the point to burn an incomplete DVD?

i don't have the original dvd anymore. all i have is the incomplete files on my harddrive. is there any program or method to make the necessary files to complete, or can i do anything with the .vob? Can i make an ISO from my incomplete folder on my harddrive?

ok ... I guess you are only missing some ifo and bup files. Did you try to re-author the stuff using IfoEdit?

thanks, I'll try IfoEdit. I've been searching and can't figure out what ifo parsing is. in dvdd (or as doom9 writes frequently, other ifo parsing programs) why and when would you use ifo mode. is it used in conjunction with file mode, since it doesnt deliver a complete folder? is a single .vob file useless? Can a .vob file be imported in any program? sorry for asking too many questions.
thanks
