I am not sure where to put this topic...
Here are results of tests that i was doing for my own purposes at 20051204 and 20051210. I just want to share them - maybe someone will find it useful.
Video was taken at 1995 by some JVC VHS-C camcorder, later it was copied to VHS tape.
Captured by ATI Multimedia Center MPEG2 VBR (avg 10 Mbit/s, max 15 Mbit/s) through x700 videocardcomposite TV-in 720x576 25 fps Pal-D.
Then it was filtered by avisynth 2.5.6a and compressed by XVID 1.02 singlepass (max bvops 1, motion 6, VHQ 4, max Iframe quantizer 4, max P-frame quantizer 6) through VirtualDub 1.6.11.

ACOBW v2.5 ("Automatic correction of balance white" http://acobw.narod.ru)
I tried to find combination of code that will be working faster and produce files of less size at the same visible quality. For now i believe that this is DGM, CNR2, FixVHSOversharp ("nick" in tests "galo") and ACOBW in some combination (for that particular video at least).
Some test are without tdeint...
Some parts of video are letterboxed by camcorder, so i tested how will affect performance if i will do something with this.
First group of tests was done on trimmed group of fragments of video.
"2" after some parts of filename means different way of code (see .avs in attached file if will find the way to attach file)
Some results sorted by size and some - by time.
