forgive me for my stupidness i have asked before i just cant seem to figure out how people are taking multiple .vob files from a dvd rip and using virtualdubmod to mkae an .avi file can someone please help.

Do you know how to create an .AVI using VirtualDubMod?

People usually feeding vobs into VDM via DGindex & AviSinth. Just start with corresponding threads.

VirtualDubMod cannot seamlessly open multiple VOBs. You need to either rip them to one VOB or concatenate them using DOS's "copy /b". Alternatively, you can use DGMPGDec to load the VOBs and serve them to VirtualDubMod via Avisynth.

or just create a d2v file from DGIndex and load it in VDM
