is this right or wrong?

when i'm converting something to virtual dub i use this settings:
1. fast recompress
2. xvid as video compression
3. xvid TwoPass 1st pass
4.audio lame mp3 with
full processing mode
5.save
6. do all this again but changing xvid to TwoPass 2nd pass
7.save.

then the convert is finished is this right or wrong plz answer.

You would be compressing the audio twice, which is a waste of time. Personally I would encode it seperatly. There really is no right or wrong though.
