Hello. I imaged a DVD that I bought in China with DVD decrypter. I then made an ISO image with image tool classic. I burned it with Nero 6.6.0.0.
I put it in my DVD player, and the screen scrolls up continuously and it's in black and white. The picture is just flashy.
What happened?
thanks

Does the original DVD play in your DVD player?
Do the ripped files or the copy play correctly on your PC?
Instead of "making an ISO image with image tool classic," did you try ripping directly to ISO with DVD Decrypter?
Are you trying to play a PAL disk copy on NTSC equipment, or vice versa?

I think it may have been pal now that you said that.
I ripped it with DVD decrypter, then imaged it with img tool because I originally thought I would have to use DVD rebuilder on it.

I have one more question. If these DVDs are PAL, is there anyway to tell before I image them?
thanks

Usually by the resolution - PAL is 720 x 576, whereas NTSC is 720 x 480. Framerate also differs - PAL is 25fps, NTSC is 29.97.

Hi!
It would be helpful if you'd answer a question asked of you earlier, to wit:Does the original DVD play in your DVD player?
