Hello,

Ever since I started encoding SVCD's i used Mplex to mux/split my video files. The problem with mplex is that it does not write the mpeg header in the splitted files, only on the first file.

I know bbMpeg does do that, but i dont know how to use it. If i open runbbmpeg.exe, go to settings, select the tab input and output files, and i want to select a video file (Open PS) it simply closes. I had that on 3 different boxes, so it has to be bbmpeg or my settings.

Can someone explain me how its done?

Tnx.

This is a bug in BBMpeg on WindowsXP. You need to open the program, click "load" then hit "cancel" and it should work from there.

Sorry to bring this old issue up again but this LOAD BUTTON is not in bbMpeg its actually in AVI2MPG2 which (as far as I know) does not simply multiplex. I'm trying to run bbMpeg to mix two streams that are allready encoded - DVD2SVCD created the ini file for bbMpeg but I can't load it.

Any help please

OK found out by myself. So you press the Load Button and than the Encode Button - and bbMpeg Starts - and Loads - and Multiplexes.
Sorry again folks.
