(there's a bit more info about which spec versions this drive can read and write, but this is almost completely in english, so look it up yourself ;). The first items of the table, x層ディスク = x-layer disc)

Looks interesting, but a bit slow on the DVD-side ('though I wouldn't want to burn a DVD at 16x). Reminds me of the first dvd-burners. And unfortunately no info about the price.
