I regularly use mplayerc+ffdshow.
Recently I'm using MPlayer to play smoothly x264 AVC files and HD XviDs.
A simple question: is it possible to set a default value for volume?
I've read a post (http://archives.free.net.ph/message/20031216.164754.96b98603.en.html) of Rich Felker, the developer, that suggests to use sound card volume... do you know if something is changed (and not yet reported on documentation)?
