So I just went out and splurged on the Fellowship of the Ring Complete Recordings; my first DVD-A ever.
The damn thing won't play in my Pioneer HTIB (530DV is the model, methinks). The disc has 2 DVD-V audio tracks and 2 DVD-A tracks. Depending on the player, only two are seen, the DVD-A ones or the DVD-V ones.
The Pioneer sees the DVD-A ones fine, but then no audio is coming out of the speakers. I double-checked the manual; it was no help. It plays fine as a DVD-A in WinDVD 7. So I said to myself, why not try to copy it and then reburn it without the DVD-V tracks (which I believe are the source of the problem)?
So I searched around the forum and found mention of dvdaripper.exe. It is sadly no longer to be found on rarewares.org, and I can't find it anywhere else. So right now I can't even copy the damn things.
So what I want to know is: where can I get a solid DVD-A decrypter, and, once that's done, how do I reauthor it without the DVD-V audio files?
