I looked for hours without success in forums about this problem:
After NTSC-SVCD to PAL-DVD conversion with Nero Vision the video is not fluently.
In what way could I change the settings?
- Or is there an easy tool to avoid this problem and/or to transform an mpeg or vob successful?

JohnnyGE, do you have a good reason for wanting to go from NTSC to PAL? I think close to 100% of PAL DVD players can play NTSC DVDs. Perhaps you'll have better luck going NTSC-SVCD to NTSC-DVD?

I friend of mine has a LG DVD-Player. It plays DVDs in NTSC black&white with stripes.
I do not know whether his TV or the LG is the reason. PAL DVDs are played in colour but the video is not as fluently as in NTSC.
Therefore I am looking for a working alternative to transcode the NTSC to PAL with fluent video + sound.

mmm if I were you, I'd try videohelp.com, the guide section has a lot of info on such conversions. But I have never done it myself, so I can't really help you, sorry...

Check this out - http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=56599 Is for PAL-NTSC but works equally well in reverse.

I may be asking a stupid question here, but check on the dvd remote for a P/N (or similiar) button. I have had problems before like yours and forgot to change the setting.
