When i run an hdtv file (TS or MPEG) from 2 specifics TV channels , in DVD2AVI / DGIndex , they both gave me at the end the right time length
as soon as i load the avs associated to the d2v in vdub , the result came offsync
for exemple for a 44 min show , DGIndex show 44 min extract 44 min ac3 , but vdub show only 41 min FOR VIDEO ,
so when I load the file ( mpeg ) in vdub and i got also a wrong time length
apparently this is happening with only 2 hdtv channels , CTV and M channel both in canada
so i m guessin they are sendin some sort of new mpeg witch neither vdub or DGindex can read correctly
if anyone know how to fix this , or need any sample to check , just msg me

I even tried to record the same show from CTV and ABC , for exemple LOST , i have recorded 10 min exctly the same the file from abc show 10 min the one from CTV is 9.30 min , and it has less frames of course ,
and this is happenin only with 8pm-->11pm shows

Sorry, I cannot do anything with this until I return on January 9th. Please PM me at that time to remind me about this. Thank you.

I'm back and able to work now. If you want me to look at it, please put the unprocessed stream in a subdirectory of my FTP server and include a text file describing the problem and how to duplicate it with the provided stream. Then post here to notify me.
