The source is pretty cheap, shot on video and it's full of field blending. I've done some testing with Restore24, RestoreFPS and cRestore_pal and got some blending removed, but in return received a lot of jerkyness in panning scenes. Below is a link for bunch of example frames w/o any filters except resize. Is there anything to do to salvage this...?

Please post a link to a substantial unprocessed source clip.

The frames are all deinterlaced. This doesnīt help to detect the problem. For pal sources you should use Crestore_film not pal, because you want to restore pal -> film(23.976 fps). As neuron said allready, an unprocessed source sample would be helpful.

I didnīt find the time to post you back yesterday.
I donīt have any problems with the source. Crestore_film and Cdeblend work with this sample, restore24 should work right too.
The simple call of Cdeblend() (without any tweaks - a higher thresh and clip2 can be useful -) after tdeint(mode=1) kills allready the most blends without destroying the motion. Just use smartdecimate (because of compatibility reasons) after and all should run fine. Because Crestore use an older core it can have some problems with the source, but should still produce acceptable results with the right settings.

Thanks for your help. I got pretty satisfying results with Crestore. Dunno how I misinterpreted the readme to use crestore_pal :) Anyway, thanks.
