Anyone seen this player? Can I play Divx files if I connect the hard drive to this player?

There's a bit more info on RJ-Tech's web site.... But not much more: -

In fact RJ-Tech is due to launch a few new stand-alone players, a couple will offer the ability to up-scale std-def sources over VGA and/or HDMI.
Enjoy

I just received my player. I tested it with my external 2.5" USB hard drive. The player can read divx files from the hard drive without problem. The USB port has enough power for the hard drive. So there is no AC adapter required for the hard drive. I have not test it with a 3.5" hard drive since I don't have one. I'll try to borrow one so I can test it. BTW the one on the RJ Tech website is RJ-1800DVX. Mine is RJ-1800DVXII.
