Hi!

Iam working on a little project, what I want to perform is convert a dvd over to a usable format in Adobe Premiere. First thing I did was to follow the Xvid guide. The movie looks good untill I import it, then it's just a black screen.

Then I tried using MPEG (think the program is called DVDx) but it hang up at 8,5%

Any advise here, what is the best movieformat for this kinda use?

Normaly I use dvd2avi with the huffyuv codec (which makes it very big) see here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=95591&highlight=dvd2avi)

I don't know about this but... doesn't Adobe Premier accept .m2v .mpv video files and .mp4 .ac3 .mp2 audio files?
If it does... why don't you just demux the DVD? I guess you can use PGCDEmux.
