Reg-RB.exe problem

Hi Jdobbs,

FYI: the new 'Reg-RB.exe' (dated 17-Dec-05) that is supplied in the 1.0.51 package doesn't work properly for me... I got this error:
"Component "MSWINSOCK.OCX" or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid."

When I replace this file with the one released in the 1.0.5 package (dated 13-Dec-05) everything goes fine.

OS: WinXP Pro + SP2, US English.

You probably updated using the zip file. That file (MSWINSCK.OCX) is included in the zip file and must be extracted into the same directory as REG-RB.EXE.

I'd suggest you use the installer -- as it does all this for you.

Thanks for the quick reply.
You are indeed right, I usually extract only the updated files from the ZIP (based on sorting on date) and therefore I initially did not extract MSWINSCK.OCX from the archive. After adding it to the DVD-RB folder it is working fine now!
